Wonder All Around!
It's never been easier to experience the many wonders on Coronado Island. There's no need for a car! Through September 1st, ride the Free Summer Shuttle buses that loop the island.
Biking
In case you haven’t heard, biking on Coronado is a pretty big deal. Get cruisin’ with 15 miles of bike paths that wind through charming neighborhoods and along the shining coastline. Pick up a bike map at the Coronado Chamber or a local rental shop.

Walking
Experience all the island has to offer in a single mile stretch. Take in natural wonder as you wander down footpaths that line the white sand beach and breathtaking bay. Search for hidden treasure at the shops along Orange Ave and the Ferry Landing. No matter what you’re in the mood for, your feet can be your guide.
Golf Carts
Your island chariot awaits! Go Ranchero Golf Carts are a great way to get around, thanks to their road access and easy parking. Rent one for the day or for your entire stay.
Parking
Parking is free for two hours on the streets of Coronado. Parking is enforced by license plate readers when your two hours expire. (Be sure to set an alarm on your phone when your two hours are about to expire!) Get more information here.
Visiting San Diego
When you’re ready to take a day trip to the mainland, you have several options. Here are all the ways you can fit Little Italy, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, the Zoo, and many other popular San Diego attractions into your stay on Coronado.
Take the Ferry from Coronado to San Diego for just $9 each way. Coronado Yellow Cab Company, Uber, and Lyft are available for your convenience. Or rent a vehicle with Enterprise, Avis, or Hertz.
