April 18-19, 2026A spring tradition since 1922, the Coronado Flower Show is the largest tented flower show in the U.S. and fills most of a city block in the beautiful San Diego beach community of Coronado. This two-day event includes landscape displays, a variety of floral competitions, educational lectures and demonstrations, live bandstand entertainment, food, beer & wine garden with locally crafted beers, and shopping. Coronado Art and Wine Festival
May 9, 2026Discover Coronado presents four city blocks of incredible art, music, tasty treats and wine! This annual event celebrates local artists and vineyards. There's a free kids area plus no ticket is required to view artwork and crafts. Tickets are required for VIP wine tasting areas that include samples from some of Coronado's best restaurants. Proceeds benefit STEM programs with Coronado's Schools Foundation.

4th of July on Coronado Island
July 4, 2026Coronado Island’s July 4th celebration is a full-day affair filled with festive activities for all ages. The day begins with the Crown City Classic 12K and 5K run at Tidelands Park, followed by the beloved Independence Day Parade down Orange Avenue at 10 AM. Afternoon events include medieval reenactments and Star Wars photo ops at Star Park, a thrilling aerial demonstration by the Navy Leap Frogs, and live music throughout the day at Spreckels Park. The festivities conclude with a spectacular fireworks display over Glorietta Bay at 9 PM, lighting up the island in patriotic celebration.
